The project was born during wartime, the intense days of missile attacks from Iran—caught between midnight runs to the bomb shelter and watching interceptions light up the sky. My daughter (Goni, 5 years old) told me about a beautiful dream she had:
"I’m lying on my back looking at the sky, and suddenly I see a rain of beautiful, soft boobs falling on us from above."
There was something so innocent and comforting in that image. The thought that a child’s consciousness can generate a utopian healing experience, rooted in the very thing that provided her security in infancy, is wondrous.
I suggested we make a "boob mobile," and we immediately threw ourselves into the idea. We cast breasts from plaster, painted them in rainbow colors with glitter, and hung them over her bed. The vision of creating an entire sky like this—a vast space filled with breasts of all shapes and sizes instead of missiles—never left me. I searched for the right time and place to bring it into the world. Now, the moment has arrived: to lie on your back and drift into the realms of fantasy.
